Resilience is a quality that allows one to “bounce back” from difficult experiences including family and relationship problems, workplace and financial stressors, or even health issues. My experience working with children/youths, adults, and families showed me this. Under the Ministry of Social and Family Development, I journeyed with allegedly abused children/youths and the elderly who sought parental maintenance. I also worked with families whose children/youth had challenges such as, ADHD, dyslexia, and anger management. Using cognitive and behavioural approaches and other techniques, I aim to help clients build their resiliency.
