Yan Lin obtained her Masters in Clinical Psychology at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is a member of the Singapore Psychological Society.
Yan Lin practiced at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) for 6 years, Child Guidance Clinic, Autism Services, as a clinical psychologist. She worked with clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), their caregivers and educators, to navigate the unique social and emotional challenges, stresses and mental health issues faced by her clients.
Yan Lin believes emotional and psychological health are integral to one’s overall health and quality of life. In practice, she endeavors to create a safe, collaborative and respectful environment with her clients, in service of exploring and tending to their psychological needs.
Yan Lin has received training and supervision for several behavioural therapies and approaches (e.g., Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Functional Analytic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-based practices, etc). She is an accredited facilitator of the Circle of Security parenting (COS-P) group as well as Group Stepping stones Triple P parenting programme. She is also certified to conduct Autism diagnostic assessments and cognitive assessments.
